Ever since its inception “Walking in stations”, also known as “Ambulation” or “Incarna” has been a hot topic for the gaming media and Eve Online players. Most publicity has been positive yet some players are calling for the project to be scrapped in favour of using resources on developing neglected current in-game content.

It seems however that this is all now finally in full motion, a recent dev blog by CCP’s new senior producer “Zulu” states:

Anyone who’s ever screwed around in the world of flash games knows there are a LOT of ‘defence’ games out there; from the venerable ‘Desktop Turret Defence’ to ‘Gemcraft’ and their hundreds of illegitimate spawn.

The basic premise is that waves of monsters/soldiers/aliens/generic enemy or geometric shapes will try to kill you in some nefarious way, and you have to construct a defensive path for them to walk down whilst being shot. The trick is to find the right combo of towers to form the longest ‘maze’ for the enemies, whilst dealing the most damage.

EA had a stunning press conference today at E3, and closed it with new revelations for its Bioware MMORPG, Star Wars: The Old Republic.
Revealed first is that every player will get their own starship, which acts as a home and a place for players to indulge in their own personal style.

A highly dramatized and over graphically displayed E3 trailer for the upcoming BattleStar Galactica Online MMO.

I’m not sure that Galactica can be shown in any other way really… Lets hope this does the decorated Sci Fi titles some justice.

After the developer canceled a planned reveal of Portal 2 for this year’s E3, instead hinting at a surprise for the event, the rumor mill went into full effect as to what Valve had planned. Now, a source has pointed GameZone to a supposed screen capture from Valve’s website, revealing that the big surprise in question is none other than Counter-Strike 2. The screen capture appears to have been pulled from the developer’s website (the link is not active currently), and reveals little information outside of the potential game’s release date (June 2011).
