January is a typical month for health and weight loss plans the world over, new year resolutions and summer bikini technicalities cause masses of people to flood to diet plans and gyms in a frenzy.. before inevitably giving up and eating more pies.

Now while we are gamers and the massive majority of us will not wear a bikini outside of Hawaiian themed university/college parties (I won’t judge you if you wear a bikini to play WoW, male or female) it would still be of great benefit to us to take a small amount of time between rounds to keep limber.

Indy MMO Developers Check List

I will not claim to be a hero on the subject or even have much experience on the development side of games but much like most people reading this I have been on the receiving end of many failed MMO’s which everyone was looking forward to and were eventually lost to simple mistakes that could have been avoided relatively easily.

My personal checklist for Indy MMO companies:

Geoff Keighley: Mass Effect 2 Will Come to PS3

PS3 users rejoice!.. maybe.

Geoff Keighley has said:

“Now the fact that [Mass Effect 2] is only on Xbox 360, a lot of debate now about whether it makes sense for publishers to make those games exclusive to a platform,” Keighley said, “I think the game will eventually come out for PlayStation 3 but they just can’t talk about it yet.”

If what Keighley is hinting at is correct this could really open up the cross platform market for future titles or even old favourites which have yet to make the jump.

MW2 DLC Comes to Xbox a Month Early

Microsoft has announced that the Xbox will receive MW2 map packs for the first two major updates a full month ahead of other platforms, this is a blow for players who use PS3 or PC versions of the game.

“We have a 30-day timed exclusive on the Modern Warfare content packs,” a spokesperson told Eurogamer. “So it will be available on other platforms, but you get to try and play on Xbox 360 first.”

The exclusivity deal was first announced at E3 last year.

Another shining example of Microsoft throwing funds around for exclusivity at the expense of other gamers.

Mass Effect 2 Leaked on Torrent

Microsoft fails yet again.

The Xbox version of Mass Effect 2 has found its way on to torrent sites weeks before planned launch, users are already playing the long awaited sequel which is a massive blow for pre-release buzz and income for BioWare.. this is a not too rare security leak for Microsoft, who can probably expect legal implications.

Review – Dantes Inferno

Dante’s Inferno
Platform: PS3, Xbox 360, PSP
Publisher: EA
FingerSports Rating: 3/5

Dante’s Inferno released 26th February for PS3 and the earlier date of 12th February on x-box 360 brings another fantastic 3rd person hack and slash title to avid gamers. In the game you play Dante, who descends into the 13th century hell depicted by the Italian poet Dante Alighieri in his series “The divine comedy”, to rescue his beloved who has been seduced by Lucifer (that’s the devil to us common folk) but ultimately realising that he has to face his own …

FingerSports Review Ratings

Games are reviewed and rated via a five star system, which is described as:
